Welcome back! It has been a long time since I have had any sporting news to announce but with the recent easing of restrictions around Covid-19 sport is back, though it will come with its restrictions which are set by Catholic Schools NSW.
I am pleased to announce that the St. Michael’s Twilight Swimming Carnival at Nowra Pool will be going ahead. This year it will be held on Thursday 2nd December. Years 2 to 5 are invited to participate, as well as the current Year 1 students who will be turning 8 next year. In order to participate in the carnival, students must be able to swim 50 metres easily and make a commitment to representing St. Michael’s at the Diocesan level. There will be restrictions around the event which will be in line with our Covid Safety Plan. Letters for the carnival have gone home electronically through Compass. This year you will need to fill in a survey found in Compass Insight to nominate your child in events. At the end of the newsletter there is a 'Tip Sheet' on how to access and use Insight on Compass.
