Project Compassion Appeal

A BIG thank you to everyone for giving so generously to Project Compassion. The St Patrick’s Day mufti raised $656 and a further $429 was donated through the Project Compassion boxes in every classroom. Your generosity is helping to assist some of the world’s most vulnerable people and create a future full of hope for their families, communities and for all future generations.

Sacraments

Students is Year 6, Year 3 and Year 2 wanting to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, Eucharist or Reconciliation should have returned their note and money. Anyone who has not will need to get it in by Friday 29 April as this is the cut off date.

Holy Week/Easter

This week all classes participated in the walking of the Aboriginal Stations of the Cross. All students were able to follow the story and recognise the grouping of the figures - rich with Aboriginal symbolism. 

Holy Week is an important time for Christians throughout the world. It is a time to remember and participate in the Passion of Jesus Christ.

Easter Sunday is the greatest celebration in the Catholic Church. It commemorates Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead and celebrates the beginning of Christianity.

May the miracle of Easter bring you and your families renewed hope, faith, love and joy.
