DMFS is holding a wellbeing webinar for Defence Force members and their families on Wednesday the 15th of June at 8pm. The webinar looks at how to support those around you who may be having a difficult time. To register your attendance please follow the link https://www.facebook.com/
Another organisation to have a look at is Soldier On as they regularly have coffee catch ups and fun events for Defence families in our region. Their next upcoming event for Defence Force members and their families is at Symbio Wildlife Park on the 25th June at 10am. The event includes free park entry, morning tea and light refreshments. For a fun filled family day out, please RSVP activities@soldieron.org.au by the 17th June.
As we are almost halfway through another busy year, it is important to remember that if you feel like your child or family could benefit from some extra support, you can access free counselling through Open Arms- Veterans and Families Counselling. There are many options including face to face and zoom counselling sessions to suit your families needs. To access the program please call 1800 011 046.
