As you are aware we had to cancel the Athletics Carnival due to the continuous poor weather and numerous ground closures. I am looking at running off the nomination selections on Friday 22nd July. If this fails to go ahead due the to the poor weather, I will look to hold it on a fine day in week 2.

At the end of last term, Taj Goddard and Noah Jamieson travelled to participate in the MacKillop Rugby trials. The boys had an afternoon training session with NSW Rugby development officers and an additional hour as a team training session. The following day Taj and Noah played 5 tough games against some big boys who they compared to as a mini Latrell Mitchell. Their team came away with 2 wins, and a draw. Both boys put in extremely solid performances, Noah Jamieson was a standout on the wing and was selected in the MacKillop team. Congratulations to Noah on his selection.

I have been contacted by Netball NSW who are holding this Year’s Koori Gala Day on Sunday 18th September at the Shoalhaven Netball Association. This is open to all ages and is a mixed event.
