Water Polo NSW are excited to be bring our Girls Making Waves program to Bomaderry Aquatic Centre, Shoalhaven.

Girls Making Waves is an introductory skills program where girls can learn the basics of the game in a fun and welcoming environment. The program sessions are for 7-12 years old and 13-16 years old.

7-12 Years Session:

• Sessions are held in shallow water
• They splash around in inflatable tubes
• Girls are encouraged to wear any type of swimwear they are comfortable in
• The focus is on having fun and building confidence

13-16 Years Session:

• Girls are encouraged to wear any type of swimwear they are comfortable in
• The focus is on having fun and building confidence
• There’s fun games, not traditional games of water polo

Active / Creative Kids Vouchers

Vouchers are available through Service NSW for a wide range of children's activities. Each school aged child (must be enrolled in school) is entitled to:

• 2x $100 Active kids vouchers
• 1x $100 Creative kids voucher 

If you have trouble accessing the vouchers, visit your local Service NSW centre

Did you know? It takes over 14 times of trying foods in different ways to decide if you like a food item.

It's important to continue providing children with foods from the five food groups (grains, proteins, dairy, fruit and vegetables) to expose them to a variety of nutritious foods.
