Today is Remembrance Day. This is a special day in the year when we have the opportunity to pause and think about the sacrifices and lives lost by those who have served in our Defence forces.

Over the last few weeks the students have had the opportunity to assist with painting almost 200 poppy flowers. These flowers have been placed on our school fence this morning to show our respect for Remembrance Day. The students have worked hard to get these poppy flowers ready and they have done a wonderful job in creating a beautiful Remembrance Day art installation. Thank you to all the students who helped, you should feel very proud of your efforts.

A Remembrance Day slideshow has also been created and provided to each of our teachers so that they can commemorate Remembrance Day as a class after recess. Thank you to our teachers for providing the students with an opportunity to reflect on and learn more about Remembrance Day.
