On November 24-27 a number of St Michael's students competed at the 2022 Australian All Star Cheerleading National Cheer and Dance Championships held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on the Gold Coast.

Team members were:
Kindergarten: Indiana Apps (Glitter & Sparkles) and Fury Rose Braddick (Glitter)
Year 1: Naeluka Milligan (Glitter)
Year 3: Phoebe Guyatt (Sparkles)
Year 4: Darcey Gibson-Davis and Maliyah McLeod (XForce)

⁣Team results:
GLITTER | Tiny Novice Cheer - 4th place and hit 0⁣
SPARKLES | Mini Level 1  (This is their 2nd competition at this level - they didn't place but were awesome)
X-FORCE | All Abilities Cheer - 3rd place and hit 0.
