Dear Families,
COLOUR RUN
Due to some organising and planning constraints this term, we have made the decision to host the Colour Run in Term 4. The date will be announced soon.
If you are a business, interested in sponsoring this event, please make contact with us via email. (stmichaelspnf@gmail.com).
In order to maximise the amount we raise, we aim to coordinate the event in house rather than outsourcing to external companies. We plan to utilise the funds for upgrading the front playground and extending the astro turf area being installed during the September school holidays.
YEAR 3-4 SOCCER GALA DAY
Our P&F ran the canteen at the recent Year 3-4 Soccer Gala Day. This was very successful.
Thank you to Tracey Vaughan, Lisa Webber, Caroline Stevenson and Liz Jarvis who planned and assisted at the Soccer Gala Day. We raised $1473.10.
WINTER DISCO
Our Winter Disco was a huge success! We managed to raise $1008.14. The feedback has been positive. We can't have these events without the support of parents.
There are too many parents to name individually, so we wish to say a HUGE THANK YOU to each and every one of you who came and assisted during the evening.
Thank you to Sian Ludlow from Stella's who was our DJ for the night.
FATHER'S DAY STALL AND RAFFLE
We are looking at holding a Father’s Day raffle this year and we are seeking support from local businesses to donate prizes.
Businesses who donate will receive;
- Free advertising within the school newsletter
- The P&F will share your business page on their events page.
If you are interested in supporting by donating goods or services for our Father's Day raffle please contact the P&F (stmichaelspnf@gmail.com) by close of business, Friday 25 August.
We will also hold our Father's Day Stall the week leading up to Father's Day (Monday 28 August - Friday 1 September).
Please find the price list of items so you can speak to your children about what they may want to purchase.
We will need your help, parent helpers will be required to help run the stall before and after school each day - If you are able to assist please email us! (stmichaelspnf@gmail.com).
The times our stall will run will be;
- Before school from 8:15-8:45am and
- After school 2:30pm-3:15pm.
Thank you for your continued support, we couldn't hold these special events without you!
FATHER'S DAY BBQ
On Friday 1 September, the P&F will be hosting a breakfast BBQ for all Fathers/Stepfathers/Grandfathers within the school community. This event is sponsored by Jirgens Civil. Thank you to Jirgens Civil and the team for this kind and generous offer. More information about this will be released soon.
