Year 4 News
Some exciting news for our Year 4 students!
To mark National Threatened Species Day on September 7, Shoalhaven Council recently hosted an art competition for Primary School students to raise awareness of threatened species and our rich natural environment. The theme ‘Hollows for Homes’ saw more than 100 entries from across the region, with winners to receive a range of prizes including Shoalhaven Zoo tickets and book packs.
We are pleased to announce that St Michael's students have collected 2 of the 4 prizes for students in Years 3-4, including
- Mrs Roles Class 4B, Collaborative Artwork featuring an Eastern curlew sculpture & facts recorded on leaves.
- Syd Warner of 4R, Quoll and goanna canvas painting.
The winning artworks are on display in the Nowra Library or viewed clicking here.
