COLOUR RUN 2023

St Michael’s 2023 Colour Run website has now launched and we are off to an AMAZING start with fundraising pledges coming in. 

The Colour Run will be held on Wednesday 13 December on the back oval as part of the school Fun Day. The proceeds from this year’s Colour Run will fund the future playground improvements. 

For every $5000 raised, a staff member will be nominated to be soaked - and having reached that milestone already we are pleased to announce that Mr Paton is our first staff member to be soaked! 

Let’s keep the momentum going and add more teachers to the list.

IMPORTANT:  When registering your child make sure YOU ENTER THEIR CLASS!  When starting the sign up process for an individual, you will be asked to select a team to join, the Team is your student’s class.

Without this information attached to their profile your child may miss out on the chance of winning some prizes. 

If you have already created your child's profile and forgot to select their class team, you can log onto their account and join a team - if you are having trouble please message the P&F and we will assist. 

PRIZES: 

There are some incredible prizes up for grabs, thanks to the support of our amazing local businesses. Their generosity and support have made these prizes possible. Please support these businesses who are the backbone of our local community. 

The major prizes can be won for the highest fundraiser’s in the category of Infants and Primary. There is also a prize for the Highest Fundraisers per class AND prizes along the way for the class with the most students signed up. (Terms and conditions apply).

WEEK ONE CLASS CHALLENGE WINNERS

Congratulations to KW who have registered an impressive 18 students fundraising profiles in the first week of fundraising! 

KW received iceblocks for THE ENTIRE CLASS TODAY! 

And well done to all teams, it was a close competition. If your team didn't win this time, don't worry, there are more class incentive competitions coming soon, so you still have a chance to win next time!

Amazing fundraising so far everyone - we are almost half way to our fundraising goal already... we have already raised over $13,000-  Just WOW!  Well done! Thank you for your support. 

YEAR 6 FAREWELL DINNER

Friday 8 December 5.30pm - 7.30pm 

A survey was recently distributed to Year 6 students to elect their preferred option for their Farewell Dinner. The most popular choice is a Pizza Party!

Preparations and planning are underway for a gathering in the hall for Year 6 students and their families. 

Details will follow via Compass in the coming days requesting confirmation of students and their families who will be attending to allow for catering and planning of this event. 

We would like to thank all Year 6 parents who have come forward offering to help in planning the farewell.

SPORTING EQUIPMENT

The P&F are happy to announce that the sporting equipment has been delivered to every class at St Michael’s for students to use during breaks. 

The sporting bags contain equipment as requested by the students. 

A special mention to P&F Vice President Lisa Webber for preparing these bags for all classes.
