On Wednesday the Diocese celebrated our annual Wollongong Environment Network day. 120 Catholic primary school students gathered at St Paul's Catholic Primary School, Albion Park for a day of eco formation, inspiration, and action. Sidney Warner, William Howard, Maddalin Russell and Sachin Hill proudly represented St Michael’s.
Students heard a keynote address by Pip Kiernan, Chair of Clean Up Australia who is leading the environmental charge begun by her father, Ian Kiernan, thirty years ago.
The annual event sends a powerful message to students, parents, and the wider community about the importance our schools place on environmental practices and sustainability.
