CROSS COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES
On Wednesday 5 June, Mila, Finn, Ezekiel and Morten travelled to the Sydney Equestrian Centre to represent at the MacKillop Cross Country trials. The day started early for our determined athletes, who had to be race-ready by 7:30 am. Despite a forecast for rain, the weather remained mostly clear, with temperatures rising just above 16 degrees.
All four students showcased remarkable performances. Mila finished 13th, Ezekiel 14th, and Morten 22nd. For the second consecutive year, Finn secured 1st place and will advance to the NSWPSSA Cross Country Championships in July. Congratulations to these students for their exceptional efforts and achievements!
PAUL KELLY CUP
The weather was mostly cooperative, with only a brief 30-minute rain interruption. Our four teams (2 Boys' teams & 2 Girls' teams) played with great spirit and were commended for their competitiveness and sportsmanship.
Teamwork and outstanding skills were evident, with two teams (a boys' and girls' team) advancing to the finals, finishing runners up in close games. A big thankyou to parent volunteers Mr Hickmott, Mrs Ellerington and Mrs Hackett who assisted in managing teams throughout the event.
Well done to all our athletes for their dedication and excellent performances!
ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
