Sorry Day
Sorry Day is Wednesday 26th May. Do you know where the birthplace of the Stolen Generation is? Check the following link. The Stolen Generations are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed as children from their families and communities through race-based policies set up by both State and Federal Governments from 1910 to the 1970s.
St. Michael's will have a school Liturgy for Sorry Day on Tuesday 25th May at 11:30 a.m at the flagpole. All welcome to attend. The Liturgy is a day early to allow families time to attend the ceremony at the Bomaderry Homes on Wednesday.
Any family who wish to attend the Sorry Day Events at the Bomaderry Homes on the 26th May must register online as it is a ticketed event.
