VISIT FROM BISHOP BRIAN
It was lovely to welcome Bishop Brian Mascord to our school on Friday 4 June. He visited many classrooms and met our Year 6 Confirmation candidates. Bishop Brian confirmed 75 candidates across the parish at two masses on the 5 and 6 June. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation. Congratulations to our Year 6 students. A big thank you to their families and teachers who have supported them on their faith journey. Also a special thank you to all involved with the music for the masses- Cathy Cartledge, Maree Brown, Bomaderry choir, Maree McGarth, Catriona Neilson and our wonderful school choir. One final thank you to Bernice Royston for the beautiful sacred spaces.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Notes regarding Reconciliation were sent home to Year 2 students last week. If you have not returned the note and money could you please do so ASAP.
The First Parent Meeting is next Wednesday 23 June at 6.30pm in the hall.
SACRAMENT OF FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Notes regarding First Holy Communion will be sent home before the holidays to students in Year 3.
ATTENTION BAY AND BASIN FAMILIES
Fr. Tiziano and the Holy Spirit Church Community would like to invite families of children who have recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation, or who are planning to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion this year to a family mass.
Possible dates: 18th July or 25th July.
Time: 2pm or 3pm.
